sports day was kinda boring, no excitement for it at all

then got pulled in on the spot for 4x400m as well
super dee duper tired after that, so went home

today was kinda fun luhh, loads of laughing
school today was bleahh la duhh
had 4 tests in all 4 lessons
and realised i'm running 400m, 1500m and relay
i like relay la, if its 4x100, which i think i'm doing
cos its 10om sprint!
got to love the feeling of spikes on the track, mwahahah

anyhoo, was suppose to head for town with the rest of them but didnt really want to,
so headed for skcc anyway!
got haagen das raisin and rum ice cream from leslie!
hahaha!
played a few matches with the usuals, and it was really funny, as usual

played better than on wed,
defense is alright, managed to steal quite a number of passes
did a faked pass, so managed to clear inside and did a cut in.
that and the steals made me kinda feel good
but shooting still isnt good enough, something's wrong with my release
no worries, hopefully i'll get the touch back soon, hehh

oh! waited for almost 30mins, cos i missed two bus 292s!

first, i finally found out with G6PD Deficiency means
which apparently is a permanent condition i had since primary school but no doctor bothered to tell me
anw, it means that my red blood cells are like really weak, and if i dont be careful, i might be anaemic or get jaundice, and if it gets severe, i might die or get into shock

so precautions are:

slept till late as usual, then went to town to meet leslie and guowei.
Had to buy the adidas tracksuit for my mumma
Butbutbut, yousee, this kinda quirky things happen to nic quite a lot.

the tracksuit costs $208. the pants were $99, jacket $119
there's a daily limit for NETS, and its $100
the difference between a person like you and nic is that
someone like nic only manages to find out things like that through an embarrassing moment at the cashier with something to do with a receipt stating 'Daily Limit Exceeded'

so anw, you do the maths, i only was able to get the pants that day.

then rushed home for homemade christmas dinner
which involved very nice tenderloin steaks marinated with red wine 'Virgin Dare',
mash potato, salad, spaghetti
yummilicious.

after pigging out, went for christmas midnight mass at holy trinity
damnnnnnnnn, was it packed!
bumped into a few people, most of them being ex-trinity choir members, like Darius! whose head was fairly gone cos of NS, hahah!

Naturally was suppose to sleep till late, but inbetween was awoken by phonecalls, smses, and mumma, and surprisingly, kor that day.

This year was very simple, but still nice :D

anw, managed to bump into Nelson who was waiting at Seoul Garden for his mother
got to meet Claudia, Leslie, Guowei, Edmund and Jason for awhile too
Fast forward, the story i've been telling everyone, hahah!

Was at Tanah Merah MRT Station getting out, though the wrong way
while getting back to the underpass, i tripped going down the escalator
so now, i've got like 6 small but deep cuts on my leg that look like mini holes cos it hit the ends of the escalator, yeah.
and one big bruise directly on my kneecap, so it hurts while moving the kneecap.

anwwwwww, the better part is, after sitting down on the stairs, feeling kinda better
i took off the heels, and walked barefoot through the underpass
cos of a blister and feeling sore since i tripped cos the heel caught onto the bottom of my jeans which i folded up.
now then, i dont know if this soldier saw, since, as far as i can remember he was in front of me all the time, but when we got onto another escalator, i kinda had put on my heels alrdy so as not to look stupid and i dont remember him turning back.

so surprisingly, he turned and say 'are you okay?'
omg. i was shocked and kinda embarrassed cos i was being unglam then, but more of shocked. hahah! plus, he was kinda cute! hahah!!

when we almost got off the escalator, 'okay then, you take care, yeah? bye' -smile

hahhh! next thing i knew, when i turned to where he was going, i heard a lot of words and shouting all mixed together, all coming from one whole big group of soldiers! hahahah!
our poor soldiers all stuck doing duty next to an MRT on christmas night, awwwwww

in the end, walked to Debbie's house, barefoot, hehe!

It was one hell of a lot of fun la!
ate oxtail, crap potato, pork ribs, lasagna, and really nice chocolate cake, which i couldnt stop dropping all over myself and the table, heheh! actually, the whole thing flipped onto her table, ahah!
watched funny videos, even hokkien ones
camwhored too! hahah!

then when i got home, slacked, till like 2am
went out to play taidee with Paula and Dominique
Paula left at 3am though

to pop by HappymealBel's 17th birthday dinner, etcetc
Shuttle Bus-ed down to City Hall, trained to Taka to get my mum's xmas present

today was simple, yet so full of laughter! :D

slacked home till bout 6
went off to PS to meet Leslie and MiaoYuan!
went to Creative to fix my mp3 for the 2nd time.
the guy was nice, he showed us what he typed, which something along the lines of this:
mp3 player replacement hung again. customer is very upset.
which was exaggerated, but he said he'll send it back to HQ and hopefully, cos of the comments, they'll give me an upgraded replacement, which was even better, since my original mp3 was 5gb, but got upgraded alrdy to 6gb :D
so you see, if they were gnna upgrade my 6gb zen neeon, it wasnt really possible, so we were speculating a 60gb zen to shut my complaining mouth :D hohoho

and yes, leslie says its mostly possible cos he told the guy merry christmas -.-
i also find it amusing how leslie looks like miaoyuan's pimp, hahah! note the queer colour, hahah!

walked, joked, made nuisances of ourselves, especially at spotlight

anyway!

but unfortunately, both shops were closed, so danggggg
miaoyuan and i were hungry pigpigs, so we went to this shop

or what i can try to place correctly, that its simplicity placed in a complicated way, but in the end, still simple.

where God was portrayed as a kindergartener, and the universe was his school project
but his teacher thought it not practical, and deemed it useless
still, God's perception was that something needn't be practical to be useless, it could be just there to be appreciated, and in that sense of letting itself be appreciated, be useful

and still, a smile is a smile, in all ways possible and all ways it could be read, the bottom line is, a smile wants to be seen as a smile
actually, many people will be there for you, its just up to you to choose whose hand to take or try to stand up on your own
